The First Day

Everything went well with the whelping. No issues with Mom or the pups. Juniper has great mothering instincs. The puppies mostly eat and sleep.

The First Week

Puppies are more mobile and we have begun Early Neurological Stimulation. Each puppy gains about 1oz per day. The boys are the biggest and the girls are more petite. All of the puppies doubled their weight by the end of the week.

The Second Week

A few of the puppies have opened thier eyes and and have taken their first steps on all four paws. We perform Early Neurological Stimulation everyday. All the puppies are fat and happy.

Big changes this week. They are more playful with their improved eyesight and mobility. Their personalities are starting to come through.

The Fourth Week

Weaning has started. Most pups are begining to lap up a little Espilac on their own. They are getting more vocal with lots of little barks and growls as they play fight. The puppies have had several interactions with different types of people and the puppies enjoy it.

The Fifth Week

Weaning is going well. The pups love canned puppy food and some are starting to try dry kibble. Their highly energetic play sessions are very entertaining.

The Sixth Week

They love to be outside to explore and play. They really enjoy interacting with people of all types. They still nurse a bit when they can but the majority of their food is puppy food.
