Everything went well with the whelping. No issues with Mom or the pups. Sushi has great mothering instincs. The puppies mostly eat and sleep.

Puppies are more mobile and we have begun Early Neurological Stimulation. Each puppy gains about 2oz per day.

Puppies opened their eyes and took their first steps on all four paws. They interact with each other more and are very entertaining to watch.

Big changes this week. They are more playful with their improved eyesight and mobility. Their personalities are starting to come through.

Starting to wean but they still prefer Mom. They play hard and and sleep hard. Most puppies are starting to go in the designated potty area. They have had lots of interaction with different types of people and the puppies love it.

The pups are almlost fully weaned. Most are feely eating dry kibble. Their highly energetic play sessions are very entertaining. They are so smart. The puppies have learned to go through the doggy door by themselves.

Less time sleeping and more time playing. They love to go outside to explore and play in the snow. They are still trying to nurse when they can but it turns into a big game of keep away for Sushi.
